I was wondering if you had some idea for something that a *research* group
might do to address the question that you posed. I suppose that simply
establishing that SPF(et al) is more complex than other schemes which
achieve similar ends goes some way to this. Personally I'd like to see a
head-to-head with things like BATV, and work to mitigate the replay
weakness(?) in such schemes. I'd guess that BATV would be in scope for a
"mailsig" group (if it were chartered) - I'd be very interested in that.
