A new IETF non-working group email list has been created.

List address: scsn@ietf.org
Archive: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/search/?email_list=scsn
To subscribe: https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/scsn

Purpose:

The purpose of this mailing list is to discuss the operational and management challenges found in large-scale clock synchronization networks. There appear to be challenges in configuring, determining faults within, and monitoring the performance of such networks. Several examples of a large-scale clock synchronization network include mobile backhaul networks, industrial automation networks, and utility networks. Typically these networks employ IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE, which have been widely deployed in existing networks. The goal of these discussions is to determine if there is IETF-related work needed to improve the management and operation of these clock synchronization networks.
