Fine with me. Then, still, why is the first part needed to address comment #38 here (pktcMtaDevSnmpEntity), but not for pktcMtaDevCmsFqdn where you proposed:

pktcMtaDevCmsFqdn
           The MTA must resolve the CMS FQDN as required
           by the corresponding PacketCable Specifications."
