I have never posted an I-D in the hope that it would be ignored, 
for that or any other reason.   I have posted a few in the hope 
that the ideas in them would be discussed and then soundly and 
loudly rejected.

Claiming that something is a proven bad idea on the basis of 
silence would be fairly bogus.
