Hmm. Since the IESG has the option of doing it --indeed a requirement to do it which they have decided to not take seriously-- I'd say "yes"... independent of whether that decision is wise or not. The relevant gate is just semi-permanently closed.

Well, we recently completed a task of looking at some PS documents and making quite a few of them Historic.


Are folks interested in continuing that exercise for DS and newer PS documents? I'd certainly be willing to spend some time in doing so. That way this doesn't really _need_ to gate on IESG.
