Folks,

We have seen a range of opinions regarding the usefulness of the drop
counter. Some have stated that it is extremely useful while others see it as
only marginally useful.

So, lets add it to the MIB as an optional item. If a vendor supports it, it
is well defined.

I will ask Tom to resubmit the MIB with this item so that we can have a last
call.
